Gift-jacked


after someone has confided what they plan to get a common recipient as a gift, gift-jacking is stealing that person’s gift idea and buying it for the recipient yourself first. result is that they have to think of something else to give. often followed later with the gift-jacker mentioning what they got the recipient and pretending it was their idea in the first place.

noun form is gift-jacker: being the person who does the idea theft.
i was going to get jane an apr-n for christmas, but i got gift-jacked by my mom.
when one steals a present rather than having it given to them.

boy: im -ssuming i will get hosed
until i jack his card and order a watch with it!
girl: you can’t jack a gift!
boy: yeah you can
its called gift jacking
you say
“run yo sh-t foo”
and take the card
then you call and say
“send me that sh-t foo”
gift jacked
“you done been gift jacked foo”
maybe i need to add that to urban dictionary
what the grinch did to the whos…they got gift jacked sad
