the word “gl-ssnoob” (noun) is a direct translation of the norwegian word “brillegjøk” for those who are familiar with that term. in english this word is not to different from the nickname “four-eyes” as it is also an insult aimed towards those with impaired sight and thus use gl-sses to correct their physical flaws.
