an acronym for the commonly used phrase “gets me every time,” referring to something that no matter how many times you see it it always makes you laugh.

pr-nunciation: spelling the acronym out is more clear to those not in the know, however it is more fun to say “guh-met”.
guy buddy 1: did you get the video jerry forwarded around?
guy buddy 2: oh you mean the one with the cat in the suit on waterskis?
guy buddy 1: yeah that’s the one.
