Gnonomus
an unknown (until now) word which is used more in thought than in speech. the word (pr-nounced sounding the g) is used when someone makes a big thing out of stating something that is already blindingly obvious to everyone present.
you’re in the street and a fleet of fire engines speed by with sirens sounding.
person 1 “a load of fire engines just went past really fast with their sirens on!”
person 2 (in speach) “oh really?” (in thought) “that’s a bit gnonomus”.
