usually observed in any soccer match where no offside rule is in force, goal hanging is the act of standing as close to the goal line as possible in order to bash in any cheap rebounds.
players who spend their time goal hanging can be referred to as cheesy dompers
player a: “aww f-cking h-ll, nigel’s scored another one”
player b: “he’s f-cking goal hanging, that’s why”
the dangerous attempt of balancing on a crossbar of a football goalpost while naked, with a short rope attatched to his p-n-s while the other end of the rope is fastened securely around the crossbar. a footballer will then attempt to remove the daring man on the crossbar by kicking footb-lls at him until the unfortunate loses balance and is left goalhanging.
