n. a colloquialism from the deep south, particularly the gulf coast of alabama, which is used in reference to a big, ole fish of any species just below a wallhanger, or mountable size fish.
example: that’s a gollywobbler of a sh-llcracker, but i don’t think i’m gonna mount him.
