gooby boy
describes a person in a group who doesn’t necessarily fit in, and is willing to do menial or stupid tasks so they can hang out with “the cooler kids”. a common usage refers to a young person (sibling) in the group.
“hey gooby boy, get me another beer… and find me the some fresh batteries for the xbox controller”, said joe to his younger brother who would do anything just to hang out with his brother’s cool friends.
