grammattitude
the snooty, holier-than-thou att-tude displayed by those who correct others’ grammar, often in public. many times, those with grammatt-tude come from academic backgrounds which lead them to believe they have a moral obligation to police use of the english language.
a: between you and i, i thought it was totally nerdy for that guy to have such grammatt-tude.
