green-screening occurs when a company pretends to be socially responsible despite obvious and clearly irresponsible practices.
for example, british petroleum and exxon mobile are two of the dirtiest, environmentally destructive companies on the planet. but they air commercials designed to counteract this image.
exxon mobile is just green-screening! they aren’t exploring alternative energy like they claim!
