Gronay
a derogatory expression for black people used by non-blacks derived from a loose interpretation of negro read backwards.
initially popularized by the native-spanish speakers at chili’s bar and grill at the beacon center in miami, florida, circa 1996-1998.
i would recommend locking your car doors when traveling through overtown – there is an abundance of gronays here.
