when the shooter shoots behind the back, instead of aiming for cups on the table, they aim for a person standing around the table drinking from a red solo cup only. as they take the behind the back shot, they have to call “guest cup” as they shoot it.

a guest cup shot made with three or less cups on the table results in taking away every cup until there is one cup left on the table. you cannot win a game on a guest cup shot.
