Gym Fighter


a person who trains in martial arts for ‘x’ number of days/weeks/months/years. but that’s all they do, train. they’ve never actually gotten into a fight, yet the constantly tell you how good they are.

so in all, they are a fighter, but not at all.
gym fighter: i’ve been taking boxing for about a year and a half, boy i gotta tell ya, my punches are fast!

person: oh really now? wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that one.

gym fighter: well, i’ve, never really been in a fight, but if there was one, i sure would be ready….
