when a subpopulation that had not previously been considered a significant target market has a section of the hallmark card display rack devoted to it. i.e. half – sibling birthday cards, and foster child anniversary charms.
i was surprised to find a section of nurse’s week cards at walgreens, and realized that we’d been hallmarketed.
