Halloweenicana
a general term referring to the awareness of fall being in the air; also, an unspeakable -ssociation alluding to the fall / autumn season.
similar to americana in the way that one cherishes all things halloween and of autumn. for example, seeing halloween decorations in dollar stores and wal-mart in september, noticing the changing of leaves color, watching scary movies, going to halloween parties, et cetera.
unfortunately, halloween(icana) is usually quickly overshadowed by the concentration of the unbelievably marketable and commercial christmas.
joe: mark, summer isnt over yet…its only august 29th, why do you have halloween decorations on your house already?
