hammer keys

a person (or a descriptive qualifier denoting that person’s style) who doesn’t properly understand how to manipulate video game characters with the control stick. such a person is naturally given to pounding the various b-ttons and thrusting the joystick in a frenzied manner (usually when playing games like street fighter ii). (may also denote a philosophy that regards strength and chance as superior to finesse and strategy.)
a: jay whipped my -ss at street fighter ii last night…
b: what? no way…which character was he playing?
a: zangief!
b: …impossible…..
a: no..he beat me like 7 or 8 times in a row!
b: how?
