hardcore hands (pl. noun) — a term describing two hands formed into the rock on hand symbol. usually displayed in response to music, or a situation that is just brutal. the symbol is formed on each hand, sticking the index and pinky fingers into the air, while balling the ring, middle, and thumb fingers into what resembles a small fist in the middle of the hand. can also be used in the singular sense, as simply “hardcore hand”.
