a serious disorder that causes an individual to go everywhere and do everything in life with headphones in/on their ears. sometimes they listen to music. sometimes they listen to podcasts. sometimes they listen to the endless existence-questioning chatter of their own mind. the headphones bring a sense of brief anxiety-reducing comfort, like a tortoise and her sh-ll.
