a person of irish descent who’s parents or grandparents have settled in new brunswick canada. they are often so cheap, they’d sooner walk around with holes in their shoes than buy new ones. they are also living on a steady diet of herring, or make their income off of herring (fisherman etc.) so they are known as the aforementioned “herringchoker”. they can also be cl-ssified as “irish jews”, “penny pinchers”, and “cheap motherf-ckers”.
