High Fructose Corn Syrup

n. a sweetener created by repeatedly processing corn starch into strange molecules. difficult to digest and burn off. is widely believed to be a lead contributer to america’s obesity epidemic.
everything at mcdonalds except the coffee contains high fructose corn syrup.
the result of cost-cutting by food companies, soda companies, and fast food joints. this is not real sugar, but actually a sweetener that has been produced from corn.

real sugar is more expensive than high fructose corn syrup, and so that’s why almost all soft drinks contain hfcs instead of real sugar.

and high fructose corn syrup is more unhealthy for you than real sugar, and too much of it is a cause of obesity.

so when you’re buying drinks that are supposed to be made out of real fruit juice from the stores, look at the ingredients. if you see high fructose corn syrup, you’d be better off avoiding that product. same goes for all other food products. you’d be amazed at the number of products with high fructose corn syrup. look up the ingredients of all the mcdonald’s food and you’ll be shocked by how much of it these people use in their food.
bill: “dude, i’m getting addicted to pepsi. i just love this stuff. i’ve been drinking it at least once a day.”

suzy: “you’re slowly killing yourself, pal. that stuff is just full of high fructose corn syrup. driking that every day is definitely not a good idea. i had a friend who did that and she got a nasty kidney stone, and was warned she might get diabetes. if you’re drinking it every other day or something, and you’re doing some exercise, it’s not so bad. but every day, plus you always sit on your -ss in front of the tube, uhuh, bad idea dude.”

the pioneer ingredient that began the philosophy of corporations “saving money and cutting costs” in the united states of america beginning in the 1970s that led to an increase and creation of certain medical conditions (such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer), artificial preservatives and genetically modified pesticides, m-ss production, and a conversion to food processing that aims to completely replace and dismiss subsistence farming.

high fructose corn syrup (abbreviated hfcs), first became notoriously famous for it’s replacement of pure cane sugar in coca-cola, often thought of as a conspiracy that occurred with the release of the epic fail product new c-ke in 1985.

today, high fructose corn syrup is used primarily in junk food, fast food, processed meals, sodas, juices, and even food items where sweeteners aren’t needed. while some grocers and companies have began reverting back to the use of pure cane sugar, high fructose corn syrup is still a monopoly and a dominant ingredient in the american food culture.
