“i’m zee” means sorry, but will be followed by a punishment. if you say “im zee” then there is a chance you will get a beating from someone who you are apologizing to. this is used mostly on long island and parts of nyc and new jersey.
person 1: “i’m zee, jimmy, i spilled your water!”
person 2: “wow! you’re gonna get a beating tonight!”
