a person who creates the perception that they can program, by posting pictures of themselves with computers on instagram.
these are usually attractive people gathering a following with the intention of advertising to them.
these pictures may also be of:
* an incomprehensible block of code in the text editor sublime.
* a stack of programming books that teach unrelated languages; c++ & css, html & objective-c
* paper notebook with a block of syntax written on it
* multiple computers with the subjects hand on either of the keyboards
* yoga poses with a laptop open in front of the user
* a gl-ss of wine held out in front of a computer
you should open source less, instacoders don’t do it so it must not be cool.
