a missile which is used for very long ranged attacks, often between continents; hence, inter-continental. these missiles often carry nuclear material which is used to create large explosions, such as those used by the united states during world war ii.
the inter-continental ballistic missile completely devastated the country because of it’s extreme heat and radiation.
