internap is the name of an it infrastructure solutions company founded in 1996. the formal name is: internap network services corporation. the name of the company is a combination of the words “internet” and “network access points – nap.”
internap offers it infrastructure services including route-optimized enterprise ip, tcp acceleration and a global content delivery network with colocation, managed hosting and public / private cloud services.
