Istra
istra (english istria) is the largest peninsula in the adriatic sea. the peninsula is located at the head of the adriatic between the gulf of trieste and the bay of kvarner. by far the largest portion (89%) lies in croatia. important towns in istria county include pula, poreč, rovinj, pazin, labin, umag, motovun, buzet, and buje. smaller towns in istria county include višnjan, roč, and hum.

josipa: i was in poreč, istra. i also visit a very popular beach called zlatni rat on the island bol.
name of a g-ddess/princess from the book, “till we have faces” by c.s. lewis. in the book she was married off to the god version of cupid and was never allowed to look upon his face.
istra is exceptionally pretty.
