college-going fans have developed a drinking game in which you have to down one shot for every time jack bauer says “d-mn it,” which is the show’s “f-ck” and “sh-t” subst-tute.
“during one episode, by the end of the show there had to be fourteen ‘d-mn its.’ i could just see all those college kids going, “oh f-ck!” and “what a great jack bauer power hour…”

the timeslot where “24” is televised. literally, an hour (minus commercials) of jack bauer (bad–ss counter-terrorist agent played by keifer sutherland) using his power (knocking off the bad guys in bad–ss ways).

jack bauer power hour (aka the best d-mn time of the week) occurs monday nights (or any other time of the week as long as you have an episode of 24, including commercial break (so you get the full 60 minutes)) where a shot of beer is taken for every minute jack is in the field. if jack is in the field kicking -ss and putting his life on the line to save the us, we can at least show some respect by drinking some beer. g-d bless jack bauer.
