when something is completely and utterly defeated, subjugated, and overpowered, it has been “j-pan’d.” note that the j-panee is not destroyed or annihilated by the j-paner, merely reduced to a position of absolute humility and obeisance. the term dates back to the mid to late 2000s- some say that it retroactively refers to the military j-panning of the nation of j-pan in world war ii, where the united states (so it is claimed) j-pan’d j-pan by dropping atomic bombs on hiroshima and nagasaki. most, however, hold that this is a folk etymology, and that the word was coined after the j-panning of the j-panese smash 64 community by isai in 2006.
