a gay, boozing, child-molesting u.s. senator who presided over a communist witch-hunt during the 1950s, ruining many innocent peoples’ lives in the process. anyone left of hitler was potentially a “communist” to mccarthy. in fact, if your brother’s friend’s cousin’s ex-wife’s roomate happened to attend a communist meeting in the 1930s, you probably would’ve been accused of being a soviet spy and then would have to kiss your job and reputation goodbye.

republicans have tried to resurrect this pathetic man as some kind of hero who saved us from the tide of communism (historical revionism is popular with the gop), but the truth is most of senator mccarthy’s “intelligence” was based on little more than his vivid imagination, rumors, half-truths or gossip. he even admitted to j. edgar hoover that he made up the numbers on his infamous list as he went along, forcing the fbi to account for them (his office was an fbi front, he hired so many ex-fbi agents on his staff it was known as “the little fbi”).

despite all of joe’s wild claims about a vast communist conspiracy bent on subverting america, the third in command at the bureau admitted there wasn’t enough evidence to prove there was even a single communist in the state department. that didn’t stop ol’ joe, however, he just got more reckless and bizarre in his accusations. he even started attacking president eisenhower and the army. this scared hoover away and the fbi stopped helping mccarthy, setting in motion his eventual downfall. in december 1954, he became the fourth member in history to be censured by the u.s. senate. he died in disgrace in may 1957 from his own alcoholism.

united states senator during the 1950’s. began a personal crusade against communist agents in the us government, leading to highly publicised television trials of political and entertainment figures, blacklisting of people in these fields for involvement with left-wing organisations, and a general paranoia about soviet infiltration of us life called the red scare.

mccarthy started the entire debate by caliming at a public meeting that he had a list of 137 ‘card-carrying communist party members’ working in the state department, which he waved at the shocked crowd ( this later turned out to be his laundry list.); the number changed over the next few months, during which time he and his aide richard nixon stirred up m-ssive controversy over the matter. finally, when mccarthy claimed that the us army was ‘soft on communists in its ranks’, his momentum decreased as several talented legal speakers tore through the basic premises of his arguments.

his nickname was “tail-gunner joe”, not beacuse he served this position while in the usaf in world war two – he was in fact a radio operator – but because he was a h-m-s-xual.

in hindsight he was right.the communists did thoroghly infiltrate our government and the fdr administration.today the republicans advance the radical left’s socialist agenda and the democratic party everyone knows is openly socialistic.hollywood is clearly radical leftwinged and actors are constantly injecting themselves into politics or spewing their radical leftist memes and agitprop.

“actors” should not be allowed anywhere near politics.they are “actors”,they “play roles” in order to portray fantasy to the public.politicians are supposed to be accountable to us and deal in facts and reality.to have an actor portraying a role is to deal the public fantasy and lies.it is the ultimate deception.
joe mccarthy was probably himself a commie portraying a specific role and task on the way towards communizing this country.it was probably a deliberate misdirection ploy to misdirect the public’s attention to later subtle communization tactics.
