john harms was a man who expressed his disdain for the phenomenon of the “gate” suffix being affixed to any new scandal. in his original comment on a youtube video by sargon of akkad covering a media smear campaign of milo yiannopoulos his replies were all sarcastic gate suffixes many of which mocked him by making the #johnharmsgate a phenomenon and mr. john harms a “living meme”.
