a bullsh-t mental disease were one claims they will “commit suicide” if their demands are not met. demands can range from a toy the person didn’t get to getting someone to date you when they don’t want to.
juan syndrome can also be used as a guilt trip.

girl: i don’t know you. you’re just some stalker.
boy: date me or i’ll commit suicide!!!!!
girl: i’m sorry you have a bad case of juan syndrome but i’m not going to date you.
