a mental disease effecting parents, manifested a strong need to control their child’s life, from college to personal relationships to money. parents with julie-itis are incapable of gracefully letting their adult children finish growing up, and are pr-ne to ranting about how rebellious and wrong their child is anytime they do not fall in line with their idea for what the child’s life should look like.
