Jungle

not a harder version of drum and b-ss – this just is what drum and b-ss was called before it was called drum and b-ss. the term is mostly now used to refer to drum and b-ss tunes released between 1992 – 1996 (especially those with ragga vocals) ie. “old skool jungle”. is also used to describe drum and b-ss in general.
phantasy is playing an old jungle set in the 2nd room
slang term for a city or urban area.
you know where you are!? you’re in the jungle baby! you’re gonna diiiiiie!
jungle is a type of music that emerged circa ’94, it is characterised by chopped up amen drum breaks and low b-sslines, and sometimes ragga vocals. it is not the same as drum n b-ss. if any waste says it is, slap the c-nt.
“original nuttah is a top jungle choon”
a very hairy v-g-n- that needs a lawn mower to cut. lazy or natrual women let their hair grow and it becomes a jungle. if she asks you to go down on her makes excuses like your washing your hair or you’ve lost your tounge. sometimes you will get hair stuck in your teeth if she has a jungle downstairs. reccomendations are to wax or shave. i would wax as they deserve to go through pain after putting you through the pain of licking their wig.
“would you like to lick my p-ssy?” “no i would need a map in that jungle”
“i’m just gonna bash the bishop over this old woman who has a jungle” “you need to see someone mate”
area in south central los angeles belonging to the black peace stones(bps), a notorious westside bloodz gang. all around you are very tall trees and large run-down apartments. the streets in the jungles are very twisted and tricky…if you’re not careful you could end up on a very dangerous drug dealing street. there are also lots of dead ends in the jungles(j’s), like palmwood street. palmwood is the street training day was filmed on with bloodz on the rooftop. the best advice i can give is to respect the jungles as a blood city and if you’re not from there don’t go there!
lapd usually rides 10 cars deep when they go into the jungles. even for a simple, routine problem. the jungles are surrounded by rival gang neighborhoods, including the rollin sixties crip gang, rollin forties crip, rollin thirties crip, and the 18st.gang. however, they manage to handle business and protect their neihborhood from outsiders.
where i use to stay at. bps gang neighborhood, training day was shot there, some streets you don’t want to go to such as g-block or a-block what it means is gibratar & august blvd. and it is alot of apartment complexes on everystreet in there. my old street use to be santa rosalia & august.
training day was shot on a dead end street called palmwood where the bloods were on the rooftop.
when i went to the food truck i got chased off of coliseum or was going to get shot. a-block & g-block has some ghetto n-gg-z. every where i turn there apartments. i miss my old block & friends
during the 60’s a track was produced known as the amen, which included a 10 second drum loop. this 10 second drum sample changed the modern music industry for ever, it became one of the most noticable and iconic beats in jungle and drum and b-ss’s history.

percieved to be the forefather of drum and b-ss and its many sub genres. during the 1990’s a new scene was becoming popular; hardcore, breakcore and rave started to appear regularly in clubs.
however the birth of jungle comes from the illegal warehouse parties themselves, where people where into the hyper melodical piano samples and the high pithched voice of which resembles a hypnotic female cartoon vocalist.

however in 1992, two genres broke of from the rave scene (other genres like breakbeat, techstep, etc were also broken down into seperate genres).
these genres were what we know today as jungle and happy hardcore.

jungle usually afflicts itself with ragga, hip-hop and even happy hardcore ( more genres are included however my resources are limited). the amen break which is basically the ground or basic beat of jungle has been over produced into several different versions, which funnily enough all versions have alot incommon with each other.

it is said by many that drum and b-ss is slowly taking over most listeners with its more complex and experimental beats, but still, people say that drum and b-ss is dieing.

this is far from true, like rave , jungle too seperated into different genres and drum and b-ss looks like the most dominant one.
” this jungle beat is the bomb!”
