a very old, very british radio game show on the bbc.

created by ian messiter, hosted by nicholas parsons. first aired in 1967, now has produced over 800 episodes from different venues across the uk.

features four witty, articulate linguists (actors, comedians, famous people etc.) trying to talk on a subject without deviation, repet-tion or hesitation. good laughs and a healthy amount of banter are almost always present. (often at the expense of the show’s host)
