the random act of starting a conversation with a complete stranger in any sort of public place: for example on the train, in a barns and n-ble, etc.
this girl and i started kinnying in the train and by the time we left, we had become great friends.
a devilish animal that dwells in the dark, bushed areas of new england. has no chance at salvation and often likes to start sh-t shows just for the fun of it. one can often find a kinny prancing about new markets with a spelunking light attached to his forehead practicing on a trombone for the big parade. a kinny is considered to be the most deadly of all omens, worse than a black cat, broken mirror, or a house guest puking on herself in the middle of dinner.
