KITT bar
the blue bar that moves back and forth on some computers that tells you that a website or music selection is downloading or buffering respectively. named after kitt, david h-sselhoff’s (michael knight’s) pontiac trans-am in “knight rider”, because of the light above the b-mper that moved back and forth.
i’m trying to link to this website, but the kitt bar is taking too long until it stops—i think their server’s down.
