labelphobia is an irational fear of labels, usually stemming from a fear of minorities of any kind.
example #1:
person a: “hey do you want some of this fried chicken?”
person b: “no thanks, i’m vegetarian.”
person a: “how dare you use an accurate term (label) to describe yourself! you should be ashamed!”
person b: “it sounds like you have labelphobia.”

example #2:
person a: “you’re christian or atheist, right?”
person b: “no, i’m jewish.”
person a: “anything other than christian or atheist is a label! labels are evil!”
person b: “it sounds like you have labelphobia.”
