last verse curse refers to when you’re having a really bad day, you get in your car, turn on the radio, and the last verse of your favorite song is playing.
can also refer to when you’re driving out in the middle of nowhere, you’re kinda scared you might get killed by some loonie, and the radio loses reception right when you hear your favorite song!
additionally, most people curse when this happens.
