a story, that at the start seems to be true, but as it progresses becomes more and more unbelievable, usually ending in a joke. overexposure to lie-tales can give a groups of people very distorted views of reality.
bloke 1 – so i went to chippy the other day, asked for a small bag of chips, woman said “that will be 79”, so i said “well you can f-ck off if you are going to count them”
