people who loiter in offices, cubicles, and public places and make knowing, often deprecating comments about their employers, co-workers, public figures, and other topics of general interest. very often their opinions sound informed, but are not.
as i p-ssed the break room, i overheard the loiterati discussing the company’s new strategic plan, predicting failure and pink slips.
