lonely heart
someone who at one point was hurt and now is afraid to let love or friendship in. they instead choose solitude even though it makes them sad.
james knew pain so he built up walls of solidude. he was an introvert with the disguise of a extrovert. we thought we understood him but really we knew nothing at all. he chose to seclude himself even though it made him lonely. loneliness that drove him to pretend to be someone he wasn’t. what he was-is-is a lonely heart.
