Loser mode
a recurrent, distraught feeling where a person has consistent visions of a particular unsuccessful episode. it is like a friend who keeps reminding you in a mall that you forgot to wear trousers. loser mode is triggered by any recent temporary failures or references to that particular episode. it may be composed of a number of recollections of such similar events which leads to self loathing as the person looks at himself as evolutionarily unfit and deems himself a social loser. in certain cases, a compet-tively lesser mortal tends to surp-ss the subject in the event in his performance, thereby making the subject lose complete sanity. in such cases, loser mode advances to epic-fail loser mode which is the real world equivalent of a limbo dream state.
hard working person: “cr-p!this paper contains questions similar to those in my previous screwed up paper. loser mode activated.”
deserving person: “cr-p!i didn’t get the job because i wasn’t the preferred s-x needed to ‘maintain gender equality’ in the organization. loser mode activated.”
undeserving idiot: “i got the job by having correct guesses in the test paper, and having s-xual bias in the interviews. undeserving winner mode activated.”
