a quaint english village in nottingham, close enough to the city for pratical purposes but not close enough for cheaper bus fares. a typical english village meaning the population:pub ratio is a bit off, as it has 4 pubs despite its relatively small size. post office, newsagents and library come as standard. hosts the lowdham book festival yearly which is starting to become a big event each year. local dialect means name comes out as “loudham”. inhabitants are typically old or nuclear families.
