acronym for the expression “live together, die alone”.
the expression comes from the tv series “lost”. jack shepard first used this expression in a speech to unite the survivors of oceanic flight 815. afterwards, other survivors used this expression when facing a problem that needed the support of the whole group. it was also the t-tle of the finale for season two.
the full saying is “if we don’t live together, we’re gonna die alone”
