a small town, on the eastern coast of maine, isolated from any other known civilization. you must like allen’s coffee brandy to be able to “hang” here. marijuana also serves as a large civic p-ss-time and is cultivated by almost all of the inhabitents of machias. in machias, mothers shoot coyotes out of the kitchen window, and dining on muskrat for dinner is not unheard of. pit parties and camping in random places in the woods serve as forms of excitement for most of the younger generation. its fun!
