a person who has been living in the area of macomb or has been there for awile. usually refers to people from macomb, il. also a person being called a “macombie homie” is usually from a rural area. this term can be used as a subst-tute for “redneck” on certain oc-ssions.

moi: “macomb. down south near the mississippi. you?”
john:”wait, your a macombie homie!? me too!!”
moi: “i thought y’all looked familiar..”
