an evasive maneuver, intentional, dangerous, and often illegal in a motor vehicle. steals are made in order to save time, to gain a more favorable position, or just because you are impatient. steals must be completed without causing an accident, bodily harm, property damage, and without getting the attention of law enforcement. (completion of a steal is followed by a fist b-mp if you are in the company of others).
making steals would include making an illegal left turn during rush hour traffic across a 3-lane highway without causing an accident.
