Martin Truex Jr
driver of the #8 chance 2 motorsports chevrolet monte carlo. his sponsors include kfc, taco bell, long john silvers, b-ss pro shop, and wrangler.
he started racing go-karts at new egypt speedway and then went to modifieds at wall township speedway. then he drove in the busch north series where he was quickly discovered by dale earnhardt jr, and went on to drive for him in the nascar busch grand national series. in 2004 he got his first pole at daytona international speedway and his first win at bristol motor speedway. he also won at gateway, talladega, and nazareth (i was at that race). he currently leads the busch series points over kyle busch.
in july dale jr’s burns only let jr start the race until the first caution where truex qualified the 8 car in the 3rd spot and finished the race for jr.
martin truex jr is a force to be reckoned with.
