maypril
a term mainly used by college students pertaining to the “home stretch” of the spring semester. most finals weeks are in early may or, better yet, part of “maypril”
i’m going home at the end of maypril.
for when you think it’s at the end of the school year but you’re not sure when. from may fifteenth to april fifteenth. therefore someone’s birthday could be in maypril, or they could put maypril in their calender as a date.
jimmy’s birthday was in maypril, but his mother always said it was may tenth, not maypril twenty-fifth.
