an urban slant on the concept of the one man wolf pack, but more indicative of wifelessness. when a man is a me-unit, he has clarity of values, purpose, and direction, because n-body in his life has the standing to convolute those things for him.
for a certain type of alpha dog, being a me-unit is the only situation where the world is right.
