Mebies
is generally used by gerodies or in the north east. ‘yeah maybe’ becomes just mebies. it is an affectionate word and is not used harshly or abrubtly. it is a word used to describe ‘yeah im not sure really but lets think about it’. this frame of mind simply becomes ‘mebies’.
