when an absolute idiot thinks they understand something medical or health related and goes crazy explaining it over their social media. in reality they’ll probably end up with mega-aids with their terrible ideas, so medsplainers are to be avoided and feared. someone can be a medsplainer, can medsplain, or medsplaining.
my sister tried to medsplain to me that onions in my socks will cure cancer and now my stupid socks smell like onions.
